Our ever-popular Exam Packs, absolutely guaranteed to beat the exam blues, were mainly distributed at the RDS by students' union officers to UCD students sitting their winter semester exams in December 2017; a smaller volume of Packs was distributed during Revision Week at Dublin City University. The bags themselves were sponsored by JD Sports Fashion.

  • Just-Eat promotional insert
  • Irish Times promotional insert

Students' union officers added fruit, pens and Stress Tips information, and distributed the Packs from weeks commencing December 4th and December 11th 2017.

About the Pack

The idea for our original “Exam Stressbuster”/Summer Pack, which was first rolled out in 2004, was inspired by students’ unions suggesting that it would be a great boost to morale to receive a student-friendly goody bag at exam time. Contents typically include a sugar-fix, soft drinks, pens, post-its, notepads, and a variety of student-friendly seasonal offers. Previous sponsors have included O2, Wrangler, Lucozade Alert, Spar, the Irish Times, and PC World. Because the exam system is semesterised on so many leading campuses, the students' unions responsible for the December semester exams at the Royal Dublin Society expressed huge interest in a Winter version of the Pack. This is on a smaller scale than the nationwide Summer Pack and is distributed to students from University College Dublin. The Winter Pack is ideal for advertisers who are specifically interested in targeting Dublin students, who may have a more targeted Autumn/Winter campaign, or who may have missed our earlier third level projects. As the Packs are split 50/50 by gender, the option for targeting men only or women only (5,000 Packs) is also available.
