MAKE IT A DATE!

Killarney Ladies Days are renowned for being stylish, vibrant and elegant. A highly popular feature of the July Festival, Queen of Fashion Ladies Day ensures that Killarney Racecourse becomes a hub for the latest style and fashion trends…

This year’s Festival ran from Sunday 15th July to Thursday, 19th July. Monday to Wednesday were evening meetings and Thursday was an afternoon meeting featuring the prestigious Queen of Fashion Ladies Day, sponsored by Dawn Milk for the 25th consecutive year.

The best-dressed competition in 2018 was judged by Una Healy, Irish singer and member of world-sensation girl band ‘The Saturdays’, plus former England Rugby star, Ben Foden, who was on the lookout for the most stylish gents!

The Dawn-sponsored feature is always a highly anticipated day on the racing calendar and, with trips to Paris & Milan up for grabs, competition was extremely fierce!

GoodyBags.ie is delighted to be supplying 4,500 Official Goody Bags for the Ladies attending the July Festival in 2019.

EVENT BACKGROUND: The town of Killarney is renowned as the premier tourist destination in Ireland and Killarney racecourse is one of its major attractions. All meetings at the scenic location are incorporated into three summer festivals in the months of May, July and August. Primarily, racing is held in the evening time making the racecourse the ideal venue to round off a day of local sightseeing.

Located on the outskirts of the town just off the Killarney/Kenmare road, the racecourse attracts high-class racehorses for races like the Kingdom Gold Cup, the Cairn Rouge Stakes, the Ruby Stakes on the Flat and a number of valuable races over hurdles and fences.

Killarney's July Racing Festival is the centrepiece of the venue’s racing calendar with a mix of both National Hunt and Flat racing.
